Description: The item is a set of retainers for the Topcon BT-56Q battery (Topcon GPT 8000 and 8200 series Total Stations). These often break and the battery has to be clumsily mounted to the Total Station or are sometimes discarded. The retainers are fully functional, but are slightly different than the factory items to avoid copyright/patent violation. ***The battery is not included in this sale, only the retainers.***The two retainers are not identical as the battery tapers on either side, they are mirror images of each other. See pictures.These were designed in AutoCAD and 3D printed out of PETG. They should last at least as long as the originals.Take care in installation to align them carefully as they are spring loaded. The springs often get lost when the factory retainers break or pop off. New springs are included in the package.Glue is not needed; the factory set are held in place by friction. You can use glue at your discretion, if desired; but this is not recommendedThese will extend the life of your Topcon batteries.
