Its convenient design does not require adhesives, making it easier to remove and install than other forms of weatherstripping. Product is sold in pre-cut strips can be easily resized with household scissors. Seal is extruded from high-grade Silicone. The seal remains stable in temperatures of -22º to +220º F, though it can withstand higher temperatures for a short period of time. Seal is compatible with gaps with a minimum space of 1/16" and maximum space of 3/8". To install, simply insert the extending fin into a kerf, or groove, and push in with the aid of a putty knife to get a tight fit. Please note that not all doors have a standard kerf Groove. Some use their own weatherstripping which can make it difficult to install this p[articular kerf. please check the size on the image supplied to insure a proper fit.
