Description: Up for sale is a copy of "Thorns and Flowers" published "for the author" in 1879. Authors name is clopped and I can not find an actual copy of the book anywhere on line. Recent print on demand titles credit it to Louis Belrose. Book is an interesting mix of fairly poor poetry and sonnets on topics ranging from the Civil War to "The Tale of an Ancient Mariner". boo is in fair condition with notes and markings throughout. Perhaps by the author? Book has wear to the boards, the front board has begun to split from the book and webbing shows. Browning along edges, previous owner signature.
