Andrews, over-saw the construction of Olympic and Titanic, as Managing Director of Harland and Wolff.. A real stickler for detail "Our Tommy" was known to lead from the front. The shipyard workers and the ships crew held him in the highest regard. Sadly, Thomas Andrews perished in the sinking of the RMS Titanic, on April 15, 1912. Andrews was just 39 years old and left behind a wife, Helen, and an infant daughter Elizabeth. This image is printed with professional photographic paper. It measures 8.5 x 11 inches.
