Description: 1994- 1995 Original Toy Story Woody Doll. As the production of this toy was rushed for the initial release, there are a number of inaccuracies on the first edition wouldy doll. 1st- the Pole string is lower down on the back, 2nd- Later, versions had a larger Pull string ring Original is smaller and possible, choking hazard. 3rd- Hats brim is too light, 4th- Hat does not have real stitching, 5th- body is too wide and rectangular, 6th- due to the original release's amateur. The upper legs aren't sewn off into their own sections. 7th- has a tooth smile rather than a close mouth. Smile, 8th- eyes aren't centered, and instead are to the side. 9th- Has visible eyelids, 10th- Does not contain all the phrases from the movie. Except for "you're my favorite deputy." And "there's a snake in my boot". 11- Spurs are too thick and later versions Spurs were removed entirely. 12- Spurs and belt buckle are same brass color as badge. Later versions were orange/yellow color. 13- Badge is thick and plastic instead of metal. 14- Buttons are stitched on. 15- Boots and belt are not real leather. 16- Vest is not sewn onto the body.(If others describe themselves as original first run but do not have sewn on buttons &do not have this smaller Pull string ring, And the badge Bell Buckle and spurs must all match brass. If it doesn't have these 3 Along with the other 13 aspects of the first run, it is not first run.) These are rare! This is the first run prototype toy They made before the movie was in theaters. They Rush these out for the initial release and only made a small Production run and ran out quickly. But this is the only One they put Stitch on buttons and a small pull ring on the string. Both of these were found to be choking hazards, so they changed it on the second run. This is an original first run hard to find Is original woody Doll. Including the badge, Bell Buckle and spurs all matching brass colors only on the first prototype - First run before the movie was in theaters.And it works! And it says all 5 Original phrases," Howdy partner!" " My name is Woody!" " You're my favorite deputy!" "Yee-haw cowboy!" " There's a snake in my boot!" I'm not sure I want to sell it, but here it is. Poseable 16 inch (has brand new batteries) Pull String Talking 1st Edition. The very first smaller pull-string ring doll, features the removable plastic hat with a faded brim. This release also exchanges the movie version's ragdoll type floppiness for a poseable wired armature. In later releases, this feature was removed along with the sewn-in buttons, because they caused a safety hazard. The first edition of this Woody doll also contains a pull string ring that's closer to the size of Woody's in the films which is under an inch, but was changed for safety reasons as well. Check out the pictures showing the tiny pull ring and the sewn on buttons. Your not gonna see many originals like this one that still works!Amazing because they made this Woody doll before the movie was released. This is really a collector item now and not a toy. And I even kept your original batteries though they are no good just because they are from 1994 -1995.
