JACKET HAS AN INTERNALLY REPAIRED TEAR ON REAR PANEL (PHOTO 10) NEAR THE WORD "ABRAHAM".THIS IS PART OF THE AMERICAN HERITAGE JUNIOR LIBRARY. THE DUST JACKET IS VERY GOOD WITH EDGE WEAR, MOSTLY ON THE FOLDS AND SPINE EDGES. SOME DISCOLORATION AND LIGHT SOILING AND SURFACE RUBBING TO THE BROWN ON SPINE. THE BOOK IS VERY GOOD PLUS WITH AGE RELATED PAPER TONING AND MINOR EDGE WEAR TO THE BOARDS. THE ONLY CONDITION ISSUE WITH THE BOOK IS WHERE THE REAR DECORATED END PAPERS WERE GLUED DOWN AND EXCESS GLUE IS VISIBLE AND DISCOLORED DUE TO AGE (PHOTO 9). THERE IS ALSO SOME AGE RELATED DISCOLORATION TO BOARDS. PLEASE USE ZOOM FUNCTION TO INSPECT ALL PHOTOS I utilize a third party EBAY supplied shipper for international sales. This is an attempt to prevent any USPS employee from opening the package for inspection as it would be time consuming for them to repackage it. This is done simply because my packaging is done more carefully than their repackaging and also to protect the book from the elements. The vinyl bag covers cardboard protection and you can simply cut the bag open (carefully) and remove the contents. The cardboard protection is also typically held with tape and cutting in the obvious places will allow the cardboard to pop right open, exposing the book (in another protective vinyl bag). Using this method, you should be able to open any book I send in under a minute. No "buzz saw" is required. Thank you
