Description: Up for your consideration is a beautiful, rare and antique Serving Platter by Theodore Haviland Limoges, France.An elegant, eye catching pattern! The flowers displayed on the platter are white and pink roses. The oval, scalloped platter has an embossed and brushed gold rim. "Garlands" of pink and white roses with green leaves and branches and also some white/grey branches and leaves are painted close to the rim. Two smaller rose garlands decorating the center. The two embossed and gold decorated handles show each two embossed leaves framed with fine gold lines. Close to the rim you find an embossed border which looks like a lace border. On the plates back you find in red stamped "Theodore Haviland Limoges FRANCE". In good vintage condition, there are the faintest of utensil marks & some gold wear to the trim. There is a small chip on one of the handles that could be covered easily by adding some gold where the rim has faded. A couple of small normal grazing bubbles. No other chips or cracks.
