The hardcover features nearly a hundred pages of his poetry as well, spanning from his first published work in the anthology The Outcast Poets, the uncommon chapbooks Proletarian Laughter (1948) and Poontang and Other Poems (1967), plus uncollected poems from 1939 to his death in 1988. An important posthumous addition to the pulp author's oeuvre.
