About: Articles and works by Paul Krassner, Marvin Kitman, Alan Casty, Hiag Akmakjian, Martin Berman, Robert Anton Wilson, James Higgins, Lenny Bruce, Jack Magarrel, William Worthy, Eileen Brand, Dave Berkman, George von Hilsheimer, Bob Abel, John Francis Putnam. Lengthy lead article titled From A Study of Salinger Controversy In the Catcher. The Realist was an underground paper founded by Paul Krassner, and first published in 1958. It saw print for over 42 years, coming to an end in 2001. Steeped in satire, and wrapped up in the First Amendment right to free speech, this underground countercultural paper was quite a tool in speaking Truth to Power and breaking taboos we bound ourselves by. I will happily answer any further questions. Making offers: I certainly can appreciate wanting a better deal, and I've made offers myself on my own purchases. To be up front, if and when you make an offer, I will automatically reject crazy low "give it away" offers. Best not to waste our time. With a more reasonable offer, I will review current pricing for other comparable items out there and either accept, counter or decline submitted offer. If in that review, I find my pricing is already LOW and outdated, I may then increase the price to bring more in line with other offerings. I spend a lot of time sourcing the best offerings, preparing the listings with images and clear descriptions, and price fairly in MOST cases. I remain grateful to all who consider my offerings, and I look forward to serving your needs respectfully and with success.
