Description: Second printing of this revised hardcover “New” edition of The Origins of Totalitarianism by Hannah Arendt (Harcourt Brace & World, 1966). A very rare copy of this landmark book on politics, society and philosophy. An ex-library copy with minimal related markings - wear & tear to endpapers and liner flaps from pasted materials and faint stamp to top outer edge of text block. Price clipped jacket is protected in new archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to covers and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creases and small tears. Scratches towards bottom edge of jacket spine. Boards are straight and clean but with corners slightly bumped. A few instances where binding is faintly split, though spine is straight and binding remains fairly firm on the whole. Some faint and sparse discoloration towards outer edges of pages from handling. See photos for condition. Packaged with care and shipped via USPS Media Mail
