Description: This is a rare and highly sought-after Pilot Edition of "The Key To Uranian Astrology" by Hans Niggemann, self-published in the U.S. in 1969 and limited to only 500 copies. This 1st edition book delves into the fascinating subject of Uranian Astrology. Niggemann writes in the book's preface that Witte's Lexicon and companion volume (The Book of Rules for planetary pictures, 1959) starts with formulas of the planetary pictures and gives their delineations; "However, even an experienced Uranian astrologer frequently had difficulties in finding what he was looking for. This weakness is now eliminated by this new book since we now only need to look up the situation in question and alongside find the corresponding formulas." This copy was purchased in an antiquarian bookstore in the early 1990s. It was part of a large collection of the astrologer Mary L. Vohryzek, and her signature is on the first page. All pages of the book are intact but the binding has come loose and would require some securing. That binding is Linen Cloth, covering the spine only, with heavyweight paper providing the front and back covers. The orange color of the cover papers has run and has discolored a few of the first and last pages, but all pages are entirely readable and free of any notes or highlighting. The one exception is a minor correction made by the author where four letters had been skipped in the type (see photo). The pages have some slight wrinkling due to its age of 54 years, but the book is in overall acceptable to fair condition. The book's special attributes and lack of availability elsewhere make it a valuable addition to any antiquarian or collector's library. From a smoke-free, pet free home.
