Description: The Human Figure In Motion by Eadweard Muybridge 1955 hardcover with dust jacket, containing over 4700 individual photographs from Muybridge's famous collection is in overall Very Good condition. There is some shelf wear to the dust jacket specifically to the outer edges and corners. The deep dark navy cloth hardcover with silver embossed lettering on the spine is in very good condition with light wear to the corners and edges very consistent with age and use. Where there is visible wear is to the textblock, endpapers both front and back as well as next subsequent few pages where there are discoloration spots in various areas (see photos) and a previous owner has written in pencil on the first free endpaper. The majority of the book however is in Very Good condition with no missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no marks or writing (aside from the above mentioned) and the binding is in very good condition as well.
