Description: For sale we have a lThevely signed copy of Robert Heinlein's The Green Hills of Earth, first published by Shasta Press in 1951. The book and dust jacket are in exceptionally well preserved and lovely condition. Dust jacket is in near fine condition overall with some very minor darkening to rear dust jacket panel; other than this, the jacket remains very bright, well preserved and attractive. Price of $3.00 is present on dust jacket flap. Book itself remains in excellent condition and in almost fine condition overall. Topstain has some very slight fading of irs original colors but still remains present and attractive. Book interior has some very minor foxing present to the interior, mostly affecting the interior "Future History" series narrative present before the title page. Book is bolding signed by Heinlein opposite of the title page. Since the signed subscriber's copies issued by Shasta Press were normally signed on a tipped in sheet, this copy would appear to not be one of the signed subscriber copies. "R.A. Heinlein" is clearly visible and signed underneath the book's dedication. A wonderful copy of one of the best collections of Future History science fiction stories by the Golden Age of Science Fiction master. Book overall condition is near fine, brushing closely to fine except for the trace amounts of darkening and interior foxing and the dust jacket remains in overall near fine condition as well.
