Description: PRICE REDUCED 11/1/24. Was $24.99 A volume of essays by Rev. John James Tigert, a Methodist clergyman, Professor of Moral Philosophy at Vanderbilt, Pastor, and significant figure in the Southern Methodist Church prior to his untimely death in 1906. This volume of essays was published just a year before his death. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_James_Tigert_III This (specific) volume is in excellent condition except for the partial separation of the binding inside the front cover (see pic), thus I can only rate it as in fair condition. No markings have been found on the pages (though there are some erasures of bookstore prices inside front cover). A few of the pages remain uncut (see pic). No pages are loose, despite the partial separation of the binding already noted. The cover is slightly scuffed, and there is a small tear at the top (again, see pic).
