Description: Rahsaan Roland Kirk was an American jazz multi-instrumentalist who played tenor saxophone, flute, and many other instruments. He was renowned for his onstage vitality, during which virtuoso improvisation was accompanied by comic banter, political ranting, and the ability to play several instruments simultaneously. This is the 1971 Atlantic Jazz Anthology - songs include: Volunteered Slavery; The Inflated Tear; Lady's Blues; Medley; Search For The Reasons Why; Making Love After Hours; Black Root; One Ton; A Laugh For Rory and Rahsaanica The vinyl and sleeve are both in great (VG+) condition. The vinyl has been played very little, minor surface wear that does not affect play. The sleeve is strong, clean with no splits but the laminate is starting to peel away in places (see photos).
