Description: A rare book on India filled with many colored plates, in very good condition with some browning here and there to the pages from age (mostly just to the end-papers). Inside there is a note about a former WWII Captain and prisoner of War (possibly written by Edward Herrmann, not sure the story behind it). This book came from the personal library of the late actor Edward Herrmann, known for his roles in "The Gilmore Girls," "The Lost Boys," Max Eastman in "Reds," and as FDR in numerous films including "Annie." Features Herrmann's signature to the back.
