The slipcase is in poor condition. It shows heavy wear and is held together with tape. It may not be pretty, but it has protected the book for over 69 years and should continue to do so for decades to come. The book is 6 3/8” x 9 1/4” tall and 498 pages. There are numerous b & w line drawings by Honore Guilbeau. W. A. Dwiggins illustrated the beautiful color title page, and also the decorative initial letters.
