Description: Tested SHURE M44MR Cartridge w/o Needle Stylus M44 M44C M44G M44E M44-5 M44-7 This item is a genuine SHURE M44MR cartridge in excellent working condition, without stylus. The cartridge is in clean used condition. It has been carefully inspected under high magnification, determined to be in good condition, and the expectation is that it is in perfect working order. Each cartridge has been tested for DC resistance, mounted on a turntable, aligned properly, loaner needle installed, and I gave it a critical ear. I also tested it thoroughly with computer analysis. It tested well, tracks like it is supposed to, and it sounds great. This cartridge is compatible with any Shure M44 & M55 series needles. I could not find a data sheet or specifications for this exact model online. But, it does test and sound big and powerful like the M44-7 cartridges that I am familiar with, when tested with a N44-7 stylus. I am starting this listing with 12 of these cartridges. They all have fairly balanced windings. Their DC resistances do vary from one cartridge to another and range from 610 to 650 ohms. All are fully functional.
