Description: The ClearPath-SCSK model allows you to precisely servo-control position (and velocity) using a software API, programmed in C++ on Windows/Linux or .NET languages (such as C#) on Windows. ClearPath SC can also be controlled using traditional “step & direction” (or quadrature A/B) command signals from a third-party motion controller (in which case, you can use the software API to change parameters, such as torque limits; or read status, such as encoder position). Compared to ClearPath-SCHP models (which are controlled in the same way), the SCSK models have less peak torque, but are a lower price for any given amount of continuous (RMS) shaft torque and power.
