Featuring 1:1 magnification and a close 9.1" minimum focus distance, it's perfect for capturing fine details of small or close subjects. Its short telephoto length, wide f/2.8 aperture, and 12-blade diaphragm ensure you can create beautiful, flattering images in various situations. The lens is lightweight and compact, making it easy to use whether shooting handheld or on a tripod. Its moisture-resistant build, along with fluorine and BBAR-G2 coatings, allows you to use it comfortably in harsh weather. The 12-blade circular aperture produces 12-point starburst effects and smooth, circular bokeh. A focus limiter switch shortens the autofocus range for quicker focusing and minimizes the chance of missing your shot. The lens also features a customizable focus set button, configurable through Tamron Lens Utility software, and a precisely calibrated focus ring for smooth manual adjustments. The included hood has a sliding window for easy access when changing filters. This lens is fully compatible with Tamron Lens Utility software for customizing settings, assigning functions, and updating firmware.
