They have been cleaned, the sockets cleaned and tested, and they're working well and ready for their new life with you. Their stunning large size makes them great statement pieces. Use them as torchiere lamps, or add drum shades over the glass diffusers like they used to in the 1960s and 70s (just set the shade on top of the glass diffuser shade - many shades have indentations in the metal fitter frame at the top for keeping them stable on a diffuser shade like this). No cracks or dents in the lamps - just a few little scratches in the finish that aren't noticed unless you're inspecting closely (see closeups). They have felt bottoms to protect your furniture. One glass shade has some little flea bite chips on the edge (see closeup). Each uses a standard-base 3 way light bulb (a non-3-way bulb is fine as well), and you have the option to use LED bulbs for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage for bright light. The wiring is in great condition.
