It really has some weight to it, not unusually heavy, but it feels as it looks if that makes sense. ** ** If you search eBay or amazon for this vest or one similar you will see tons of different options, when it comes to sellers & at what prices they are selling. The first thing that jumped out at me while researching this vest is the quality of the other vests. You can tell just by looking at their pics that the materials they use and the quality of the work is very poor!! The two main things that jumped out at me is the look of the leather and the green threaded cords, on the back of the vest. The leather looks plastic & the cords look like silly strings! On my vest everything is superior, plus it has some weight to it. I'm not just giving my option so you will buy my vest, but because I know my vest is NOT one of those cheaply made vests! Please examine my pics closely and ask any questions you might have.
