Since all of our items are customized and personalized returns cannot be accepted. It is extremely important to order the correct size, always better to go an inch higher as you usually have enough room to down size by a few inches. Growing puppies outgrow collars fast, please choose the correct size. Materials, Webbing, and Buckles Our buckles range from value line plastic which even though high quality USA made plastic side release, they will break. These are made for dogs that will not chew or heavily pull and play rough with. We cannot be responsible for plastic value line collars that break. If you leave the collar out, a working dog will chew and break the buckle. If you have a working dog that pulls or is in training for drive, a plastic buckle is not suitable. These collars are intended for dogs that do not chew, bite or play hard. They have the same look as our Cobra buckle collars and allow people to purchase them at a value price. There will be no refunds or compensation for plastic buckle activities. Austri Alpin Cobra Buckles are the best buckles available for dog collars, we use them in a matte black color and with regular usage, they can chip and become distressed. The mechanisms are strong and are suitable for people with dogs that will pull, and abuse the buckle in anyway. Spec Dogs cannot be responsible for the mistreatment of buckles or the discoloration, chipping or any damage done to the buckles. There will be no refunds due to buckle activities. Cobra GT Genuine buckles are made of a high quality polymer plastic and are one step above our value line plastic buckles. While they are made and look better than the value line plastic, they can still break, become chipped or distressed. We do not recommend leaving collars on dogs all the time. For this reason we use quick release options. It is dangerous to leave any collar on a dog 24 hours as dogs can get stuck on things and choke themselves such as crates, door knobs, fences, cabinets and so on. It is hazardous and we never leave collars on our dogs.While our collars are made with the very best materials, they are not indestructible. Our collars are very stylish and strong but if you abuse them they will get destroyed like anything else. We back our workmanship but if the collar shows heavy abuse, we cannot be responsible. The usage will determine how long the name patch will last also. Bottom line is if you care for the collar it will last a long time. If your patch frays which might happen after a while of heavy use, you can trim the fray off and there are videos explaining how to seal webbing online to stop it from fraying for a while.Please take care of your dog collar.
