Description: Here is a group of 3 medium-heavy gauge restaurant ware pieces in the Strawberry Hill Pink pattern by Syracuse. The two 10-inch dinner plates and one 6 3/8-inch rim cereal bowl have gently scalloped rims and a dark pink & white flower decoration. They are in very good conditions with no chips, cracks, crazing or discoloration but with utensil marks. The bowl has a tiny rim nick, see last photo. Each piece was crafted in the USA with a different backstamp and production date code:Dinner Plate A - green circle logo with dishes & candle reads "Syracuse China, 4-I, USA". This dates to Sept. 1975Dinner Plate B - black circle logo as above but with oblong line surround reads "Made in USA, A Product of Syracuse China Company, 30-C, Since 1871". This dates to Jul/Aug/Sep 2001Rim Cereal Bowl - in green reads "Syracuse China, 101-G, USA". This dates to July 1972 This pattern appears in a 1982 Syracuse catalog of “Off List Hospitality Pattern” options referring to it as a “feature plate in the Essex shape”.This vintage American-made restaurant ironstone china is strong enough to hold up to daily use wear & tear and still look beautiful.
