Description: Sympathetic Sounds of Detroit LP V/A (USA 2000 SFTRI White Stripes)+ Insert NM/NM/MINT On Third Man / Sympathy For The Record Industry Records (Cat: SFTRI623) Original vinyl LP released in 2000 in USA. The album comprises a compilation from various artists in the Detroit area (see Track List below), includes White Stripes, Dirtbombs, Soledad Brothers, Hentchmen (Jack White’s playing career included these – and more). This record has been play graded and the sound quality is perfect, with no clicks or crackles, and no jumping or sticking. The record is graded NEAR MINT. (NOTE: I only grade as MINT discs that are sealed or genuinely have not been played). The cover is in near-perfect condition (see below) and is graded NEAR MINT. The inner hard-plastic insert is perfect and is graded MINT. The card cover is non-laminated, and all edges and corners are sharp. Both front & rear surfaces have no issues – no writing, no stickers, no residue, no major creases – just 4 or 5 thin short hairlines at the spine, hardly noticeable, but mentioned for accuracy of description. There are no other issues with the cover, which is graded NEAR MINT. There is a thick laminated coloured card insert, which is perfect, with no creasing, no writing, no tears or other issues or blemishes. The insert is graded MINT. I always play grade the records I sell, unless sealed or stated otherwise. PACKAGING: This item will be protected inside a strong thick card pro-mailer with a stiffener – see my feedback. I prepare a record (unless factory sealed) for despatch by re-packaging it in a new polythene-lined inner sleeve, and place it separately from the company cover to avoid splitting the seam. The record could otherwise slip around inside and cut through the edge of the card cover. To add further protection, I place the whole package inside a polythene outer slip case.
