Description: This is a matching pair of adorable, 9" tall, vintage cloth over wire armature with composition head dolls with pursed lips and side-glancing, brown eyes, blond and brown hair and felt arms. Unusual because the back of each of their manufacturer's BAITZ, Austria tags also has their proper "name" (BUB & Bregenz?) along with the additional gold stickers. Each of these charmers wear all of their original clothing including gold threaded cap and green Tyrol hat as well as their colorful, provincial felt costumes decorated with lace and gold metal buttons, stockings and shoes. They are super clean with no damages, no holes or tears, no fading and no odors as they are from a smoke free home. We received information from a knowledgeable collector that the girl is from Bregenz, Austria & the boy is from Bavaria, Germany.
