Description: A pretty antique Victorian Art Nouveau 9K gold diamond and pearl floral brooch or pin. This fabulous intricately designed solid 9K yellow gold Art Nouveau pin has a wonderful elongated shape with cloud like circles to the center and forked ends, the middle with a wonderful star engraved gold plaque centered with a sparkling natural diamond and beautifully framed with two floating scrolling floral leaves studded with pearls, the reverse of the pin with hinge, C-clasp and gold safety chain and pin attached. The pin is stamped with maker 'W&Ss' and '9CT'. The pin tests for 9K gold. The pin measures approximately 1 3/4 x 9/16 inches. The diamond measures about 2mm and the pearls about 1mm. The safety chain is about 2 3/4 inches long. The pin has a weight of approximately 2.3 grams. The pin is in general very good condition with light general wear. Seen under a loupe there is a tiny fleabite to the diamond. The hinge is strong and the pin and safety chain close securely. Thanks for looking and please take a look at my other items!
