Conditions: I’ve worn these mittens on cold snowy days on the mountain, typically below 25 degrees. Sizing: The fit is ideal and my fingers feel comfortable with the length especially my thumb length. Color: Swany SX-31’s in GREY Features: The Swany SX-31’s feature ottoman and honeycomb dryshell with a leathershield reinforced palm with flexshield. Basically giving the palm good grip that’s waterproof but with good range of movement in the hands. The insulation is a tri-plex insulation system, drifinger II insert and swany dry lining. The mitten is the most comfortable when you put your hands inside, super comfortable lining and a glove inside the fingers so you have separate sections that keep you fingers comfortable and warm. Additional features are uni-pull cuff, quick release strap, precurved construction, utility heat pocket, aqua guard lock down zipper and swany leash. My favorite features are the super comfortable inner liner that makes my hand feel like it’s on a pillow, the heat pockets because I like extra pockets and you can stash money or anything else in there. I also like the leash on gloves because when I pull out my camera on the mountain or lift, it keeps the mittens dangling from my hands and not on the ground.
