The design features a repeating series of leaves with a single peony motif on a rich grey background with deep ribbed borders at the cuffs and waist. Knit using the motif intarsia technique where the background yarn is carried across the entire row. Suitable for experienced knitters comfortable with intarsia color changes. The pattern comes in two sizes fit up to a 42inch bust. The largest size is 45.25 inches at the bust and 25.5 inches from the bottom rib to the shoulder. The pattern calls for a tension of 26 stitches and 36 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) on US 4 (3.25 mm) needles. Given the geometric nature of the pattern it would be easy to size up or down.
