The document is signed by John Angell. I am not certain, but I believe that this may bethe same John Angell (d. 1784) for whomthe Angell Town area in Brixton is named. There are other names on this document, but I cannot quite make them out. The lastname "Parsons" is mentioned twice. The document was written in Surrey, England,Nearby places mentioned include Crowhurstand Stockwoll (sp?). There is some very old writing on the reverseside that has been crossed out.
