Janka hardness is around 3650. Ends wax sealed. Tight checks on the outside of the blank may be CA filled. Additional hairline checks may exist on the Suriname Ironwood blanks. Bocoa prouacensis This blank has been slowly air-dried and is stored at ~45% relative humidity. Dense species will be susceptible to changes in RH and should be slowly acclimated to your shop dependant on your environment. One way that this can be done is by placing the blank in a brown paper bag and rolling it up. Monitor weight intermittently with a gram scale until fully acclimated (stops changing weight). *SHIPPING* Maximum combined shipping is just $10 if all items are under 12-7/8" in length. Maximum combined shipping is $15 for orders with blanks longer than 12-7/8” , any size bowl blanks, or boards over 12-7/8” in length.
