The filters allow you to convert the standard white-light output to IR, red, or blue light. The diffuser provides an evenly distributed flood beam for close range or interior applications, while the opaque cover protects against impact, dust, and mud - it can also be used to prevent light from escaping during covert operations. The filters, diffuser, and cover feature a flip-up option that allows the operator to instantly revert to normal white light output. The entire kit stores neatly into its fitted nylon case that has extra room for spare batteries and lamps.This M962XM07 features a shock-isolated modular system and components, for rapid conversions in the field to meet mission-specific requirements. The bezel, lamp, and tail cap are interchangeable with SureFire's Special Operations Series hand-held flashlights.The Millennium Universal (MU) WeaponLights are designed and constructed to endure and perform under harsh battlefield conditions.
