Description: Description:A beautiful American two piece desk with tambour doors and fold over top that exposes a felt lined writing surface. Figural mahogany featured above the doors and between the doors is an inlaid star. Two full size drawers on the front and everything resting on legs that are both spooled and then reeded at the bottom. Everything looks to be original on this fine piece of furniture including the brasses, back boards and possibly even the finish. Noted is a very yjon and straight age split age on one side of the cabinet as you can see in the photo, otherwise we do not see any other flaws. Measures 38 3/4" wide by 19" deep and stands 45" tall.
