Description: super fiddleback eastern maple, Backs, about 8.2 wide at lower bout, 22 long , sanded to about 0.180 thick Sides, 34 long, 5 to 4.2 wide sanded to approximately 0.110 thick, incredible nice tight curl. a couple burns from my sander on the sides that will sand out with careful sanding by hand. I have drawn the back pattern here in dark pencil so you could see on this mostly white wood, so the black line down the center is just my pencil line since I would trim this center part off if building myself. Am uploading a video since tiny curl in maple is hard to photo As tight a curl as I have seen in maple and completely across patterns. I have taken many pix to try and illustrate tight/fineness of curl, perfect scale for instruments. The edges have not been jointed, as I have left them as wide as possible.
