Description: Mid Century Modern wooden and metal candle holders. These candle holders are from Styson Japan and were influenced by Danish design. The candle holders are vintage and purchased by my mother in Manhattan in the 1960s or 1970s. While the candle holders are functional and display well, they were used and loved. There are some scratches on the wood and some dings. There are also a few small chips to the wood. There is a small split in the wood on one of the candlesticks at the junction with the metal cup. The brass tone on the metal cups have wear, and scratching. (I don't know if the metal is actually brass, but it does look like it.) There is also some remaining waxy residue in the cups. The cork bottoms are mostly intact, however there is some discoloration due to age. The candle holders are about 10 1/2" tall and about 2 1/2" wide at the widest point.
