Description: OVERVIEW: Here’s a c.1930s-40s handmade silver brooch by Carmen Beckmann. It is an octagonal shape centered by a large and beautifully cut piece of quartz crystal (tested--not glass). It is surrounded by 3 concentric applied bands on an oxidized background. The back has its original pin stem, hinge, C-clasp, and wonderful handmade safety. It is a substantial and bold piece, one of the nicest Beckmann designs we’ve had.
