Description: Stunning Antique Imari Ginger Jar with lid. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. 9.5" in size. Beautiful floral Imari design with gold accents. Colors are vibrant as when they were first painted. There is some aging on the rim underneath. I believe the jar to be from the 19th Century. The marking painted on the bottom appears to be Japanese but I cannot verify this fact. I will take the utmost care while packing this item.
