Studio I, 3 pc. Size 8 Women's Outfit, jkt., shell, slacks, jkt. 3/4 sleeves

Description: This is a sharp three piece outfit by Studio I. It includes a jacket with 3/4 sleeves, pants, and a full size shell, not just a frontal piece, so the jacket can be removed. The color is tastefully done in reds, whites, black and silver. The style is very reminiscent of the 1960s, esp. the late 60's, because it was not until then that pants were accepted as appropriate wear for women. I'm old. I know. Probably not vintage, but fashionably nostalgic, a retro look. I examine everything I list with a fine tooth comb and hope I do not miss anything along the way. I found two flaws that I feel a prospective buyer should be aware of. The first is with the shell. Note first picture, 2nd row. On the front of the shell on the right side I found what I think is a manufacturing defect. I came across this very same thing a short time ago on another garment. It looks almost like a "run" in a pair of nylons. Closely looking at it, it is the width of only one thread. I feel it is not even a run, but instead a line of thread gone wild .And the mistake was not rectified then as it should have, or maybe the maker was not even aware of the issue. Just sad. The second thing is not really a flaw, but a suggestion. I would definitely tack the jacket cuffs in place so they would stay as I want them to. The pants zip on the left side seam. Only two small 2" sections of the waistband are elasticized; the rest of the 1" waistband lies flat. The width of the pant legs are 10" for a comfortable sleek look. Switch out the shell for other colors, white, black. Very versatile! All in all, I think this is a really lovely suit. If you were fortunate enough to experience the sixties and seventies, I think you will feel the vibes.
