I have sold over 3000 sets without any quality or performance problems!These are a US made, high quality small size latch, not some questionable quality imported latch. The mounting bolt pattern is common to the bear jaw style latches. One left and one right, with new matching striker bolts. Latch size is 3.88 inches tall x 1.25 wide x 0.81 thick, which is the standard small size bear claw style latch used for passenger door latch applications. These have very low release force to open, you do not need high power solenoids or heavy handle force to release the latch when closed. When you release the latch the spring loaded catch design helps push the striker bolt out and the door open when they release - no extra popper needed. These do meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 206 for use in passenger door latch applications. They are OEM supplier quality made by a ISO-9001 manufacturer, not some aftermarket part without any testing to ensure they are safe and will hold up over time. Zinc and chromate plated for corrosion resistance, just like any factory latch has. They have a dry film lubricant applied at the factory which is a permanent lube so you don't have any oil dripping down your paint! They are 2-position double arm catch with good security. These have a release arm that is 2.375 inch from pivot to hole, so they are easy to pull open or adapt to your needs. The four holes are threaded 1/4 x 20 tpi (1/4 coarse) thread for easy mounting. The mounting bolt pattern is also standard bear claw pattern, so if you are having trouble with your current bear claw latches, these can bolt in and help solve your problem. Each pair of latches comes with two new matching striker bolts with the latches, they have 3/8 x 16 tpi (3/8 coarse) threaded stud. I have not seen anyone selling similar high quality made in USA latches for the price I sell them for. $43.00 for a pair of large size latches and striker bolts, with mounting bolts, plus $10.00 shipping for USPS Priority Mail in USA.
