Dr. Miller began her career in healthcare as a medical technologist in the immunovirology laboratory at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, Illinois. There she served as a clinical instructor for the hospital-based school of medical technology before coming to ECC to develop the Associate of Applied Science degree programs in Clinical Laboratory Technology and Histotechnology. Dr. Millers dissertation research focused on developing a theory of clinical instructor identity, and she is committed to helping clinical faculty engage in their instructional roles and embrace a sense of identity as educators.
