Description: Stillwater Covered Bridge, Columbia County, Pennsylvania Postcard Stillwater Bridge is located on Fishing Creek in the Borough of Stillwater, after which it was named. It is off of Paperdale Road, east of Pennsylvania Route 487. It is a 151-foot-long, Burr Truss arch bridge with a galvanized steel roof constructed in 1849 by James McHenry. It crosses the Big Fishing Creek. The bridge is now closed to motorized traffic. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Please review the photos carefully for condition and detail. Normal wear associated with an old postcard have creases, corner bumps, scratches, ink on the front etc.
