Connecting the SATA hard drive to the computer is as easy as inserting the caddy into the bay, which can be locked to prevent removal of the installed drive. The HDD drawer supports (SATA I/SATA II) hard drives up to 1.5TB, letting you swap in large amounts of data in a matter of seconds. The caddy features two front panel ball-bearing fans to help keep the enclosed drive cool, and to prevent damage to the hard drive(s) the caddy features shock absorbers and rubber cushioning to limit vibration/shock to the drive.
