Description: For Sale is a handmade (unbranded) Star Trek TOS 3rd Season (Double-Knit) Women’s Operations Division Lieutenant Rank RED MINI-DRESS, Size Medium-Large, BRAND NEW. This item is a high-quality reproduction of the Red mini-dress uniform worn in the final 3rd Season of Star Trek: The Original Series (TOS). This item has NEVER BEEN WORN and was removed from the bag solely for photographing and measuring for this listing. The mini-dress, which is handcrafted in England, is a constructed of lightweight double-knit 100% Polyester, with a fine-ribbed black neck collar and is fastened by an “invisible” Red color zipper inset sewn from the collar down the back. The cuffs of the sleeves are adorned with decorative gold-colored braiding to designate the Starfleet rank of Lieutenant. And the left chest sports a black-outlined, metallic gold-colored curvilinear 2-inch delta symbol with a spiral logo in the middle, denoting the wearer as part of the Enterprise Operations Division. All these details are authentic replicas of those found on the original TOS uniforms. The mini-dress is not size-marked but is an approximate Women's Medium-Large (M-L). It was custom-made to measure for a screen production that never took place, and hence has never been worn. Exact measurements (to within approx. 1/2”) are as follows: * Bust (measured armpit-to-armpit): 36” * Waist: 25" (Note: the garment tapers in about two inches below the chest before flaring out again toward the waist) * Hips: 36" * Bottom Hem: 42" * Shoulder (measured from top edge of collar): 5” * Sleeves (measured from center of collar back to end of cuff): 31” * Length (from bottom of back collar): 25-1/2” Note: the fabric material is fairly elastic and should accommodate a wearer within 1-2 inches of the above dimensions.
