It contains special polymers that bond to the treated surface to help prevent the formation of future deposits. Salt Off can be sprayed directly onto the surface to be treated and then rinsed with fresh water, or simply left in place. It is ideal for removing salt water deposits from boats and fishing gear, as well as for protecting cars or trailers from the damage caused by exposure to road salt. Salt Off is also very effective at protecting marine engines used in salt water; when used with the Salt Off Applicator, it will flush deposits from the engine’s cooling system to help insure maximum performance and service life. Features Removes salt deposits from all marine surfaces Use as a motor flush in I/O and outboard engines Rinses away salt buildup on hulls, decks, rails, towers, trailers, diving equipment, rods, reels and more Suggested mix ratio for automatic mixers: 1:512 (1 OZ per 4 GALLONS) Directions To remove salt deposits from exterior marine surfaces, trailers, dive gear, fishing rods & reels: Fill dispenser cup from the Salt Off® applicator (94100) with Salt Off® Concentrate. Attach one end of applicator to a garden hose and the other end to a trigger-type watering nozzle. Ensure black knob on the applicator is in the “On” position and the blue knob is in the “Mixture” position. Thoroughly saturate all surfaces that need to be treated, allowing Salt Off® to soak in for 5 to 10 minutes. Stubborn deposits may require light brushing. Rinse with fresh water and allow treated surfaces to air dry. To treat items by immersing: Add 2 to 4 fl. oz. of Salt Off® Concentrate per 1 gallon of fresh water. Immerse item to be treated for several minutes, rinse with fresh water and allow to air dry. To flush inboard and outboard engines: Fill Dispenser Cup with Salt Off® Concentrate. Attach one end of applicator to a garden hose and the other end to a flushing unit designed for your engine type. Ensure black knob on the applicator is in the “On” position and the blue knob is in the “Water Only” position. Run the engine to reach normal operating temperature. Once operating temperature has been reached, turn off the engine and turn the blue knob to “mixture” and verify the solution is flowing. Restart the engine and allow the engine to run until dispenser cup is clear, and the product has been used up. Salt Off®’s coating will protect the engine against future rust and corrosion. The RMA# will be valid for 15 days from the date it was issued. REPLACE We will replace a defective unit with the same unit within the 30 day period with no additional charges. A shipping label will be provided for you to return the item to our store. EXCHANGE If for any reason you prefer to exchange your item for a different product, we are happy to help you do so as long as you contact us within 30 days from the original date of purchase. We will issue a store credit for the full price of the item, excluding the outgoing shipping costs that were paid to ship the original item to you. Shipping cost to send the item back to our store must be paid for by the customer. RETURN If an item is returned brand new and still factory sealed, we will issue a store credit for the full price of the item, excluding the outgoing shipping costs that were paid to get the original item to you. Processing fee will not be assessed. If the item comes back to us in used or open box condition, the original outbound fee and an additional 10% processing fee will be deducted from the refund. (When opened items are returned, these can no longer be sold as brand new; we must then sell them at a significantly cheaper price, therefore we must charge a 10% processing fee for open box return items). REFUND Refunds are also available during the initial 30 day period however, the original outbound fee and an additional 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. SHIPPING All outgoing shipping costs incurred to ship the newly exchanged item to you are covered. All return and exchange shipping costs required to ship the item back to our store are to be paid for by the customer. PROCESSING TIME We work hard to process returns as quickly as possible.
