Description: Very Cool 1934 large 4" diameter Pinback Button advertising Standard Red Crown gasoline. The button depicts a cartoonish leopard (cheetah?) wearing the red crown over a blue field that says STANDARD RED CROWN SUPERFUEL. Around this there is a band in red with the slogan MORE LIVE POWER PER GALLON. More Live Power ad campaign by Standard Oil was promoted during the 1934 World's Fair in Chicago, which is likely where this button was distributed. Standard's Worlds Fair Expo sponsored Allen King a world renowned wild animal tamer to promote their "Live Power" theme. The button is in very good condition. There are some small spots on the finish and a few tiny scratches in the paint. The back has a nice aged patina, but no rust. The pin is functional.
