All-Time CHICAGO CUBS Greats STAN HACK | 1932-1947* Issued by Old Style | Chicago's Beer Offered here is one of 28 unnumbered cards sponsored by Old Style, Chicago's Beer, honoring all-time greats to play for the Chicago Nationals, from the 19th century through the modern era. Cards were reportedly issued in three segments at separate Cubs' games. One account stated the print run was limited to a 10,000 set printing which, if true, may indicate why it is somewhat difficult to find as a complete set. Stylishly, yet simply designed, the cards have a vintage look which is quite appealing. Card size is the modern standard (2-1/2" by 3-1/2") and features a variety of Cubs, 1876 to the 1980s. Front side features a sepia photograph with *years the player performed for the Cubs noted at the top and player name below the photo. The back carries an example of a Chicago Cubs uniform from the period of the pictured player in addition to player career highlights and Old Style and Cubs logos.
