HOW MANY LETTERS? For best results, limit the front to no more than 3 lines of 12 characters each. Limit the back to no more than 8 lines of 15 characters (or 5 lines of 25 characters sideways). The fewer lines and characters, the larger the size of the engraved text. ABOUT THE TAGS: The tags are about 1-1/8" x 2" - the standard size of military Dog Tags.
