I had this stuff drying indoors in a heated space for a decade or more and some of it dates all the way back to 1992 when I began collecting the prettiest wood I could find from around the world. If you have a question, please ask it before purchasing- I know my wood and will answer within a few hours most of the time. All dimensions are +/- 1/16" but tend to be more accurate. If there are defects that I can see that I think would cause a problem I will note it in the description. Burls and live edge may have natural internal flaws. From a super nice slab, these are hard and solid with a nice light rosy red coloration and beautiful fiddleback curl figure with some blackline spalting accents here and there. There are several similar sets being listed today if you're looking to make a matched set. Colorfast but UV protection in the finish is always recommended to preserve the richness of the color if it is to be used or displayed under sunlight, fluorescent lighting or any other UV producing artificial lighting.
