Part # SRX_SBC_BBC_SolidEngineMntThese are fabricated from 0.25" thick American steel. This sale is a pair of 2 new steel solid motor mounts for small block Chevy engines. These are precision CNC cut & formed on our Amada press brake for that precise fit each and every time. These brackets are manufactured in Central Texas, USA. Our SBC engine mount brackets replace the GM OEM Part # 3990914 used on most small block Chevy models from 1958-1972. They measures approximately 2 1/2" inside the ears and 1-11/16" from back of mount to center of the bolt hole.Replace your stock-style rubber mounts and eliminate excessive engine movement in high performance applications which can result in torque loss and linkage binding. It is also recommended to replace the mounting pads in the frame with solid pads for best performance, we will start manufacturing these mounting pads within a week from this listing as well. They secure your engine mounts to engine block and this Set also includesengine mount through bolts (the 2 long bolts). Our bolts are all Grade 8 bolts, which equal and surpass factory hardware rating.Our flange bolts are not serrated as we do not recommend any hardware to dig into your engine block permanently, The use of Hi Temp Loctite is still the recommended method to keep your engine block nice & clean. All our bolts in this kit have the nice zinc never rust finish and they're made from alloy steel. These Grade 8 bolts have class 2A thread fit and they have a minimum hardness of C33, minimum tensile strength of 150,000 psi, and meet IFI-111 and SAE J429.
