Fits: 79-04 Ford MUSTANG Chassis with 5.3L 5.7L 6.0L LS Engine Swap StreetRays LS to 4.6L Mustang engine mount Adapter Plates is CNC cut from 1/4" thick USA steel sheet and it will allow you to use the original 4.6L engine mounts from Mustang chassis, be it the OE style, polyurethaneones or for best result, the solid 4.6L engine mount available from our store as well. Our engine mount adapter plate comes complete with all necessary hardware, which is all of course of highestgrade as well, so you can rest assured your LS swap will go as smooth and reliable as possible. Installation is quite straightforward with these adapter plates. First, install the plate against factory mounting location with the"arm" (5th bolt hole) of the plate facing towards BACK of the engine. Next, align the FRONT 2 bolt holes on theplate (as well as the engine block bolt holes) with your 4.6L mount and bolt it up to the block with the longer boltthat we include. Lastly, install the last hole in the BACK "arm" of the plate with the 4.6L mount with supplied boltand nylon lock nut. Now you can tighten all the bolts and repeat the process for the other side of your LS engine.As for the little spacer included in the kit, that's for the dipstick tube; You will place the spacer between dipstick &the head and use our supplied 35mm long bolt to secure it. Dipstick tube can be bent a little here and there for itto clear tight spaces.
